Dominance MMA founder and president Ali Abdelaziz added to the burgeoning talent on his roster by signing Russian middleweight Sharaputdin Magomedov.

MMA Fighting editor Damon Martin tweeted out the news and also speculated about a potential move to a major promotion for Magomedov:

"Undefeated Russian middleweight Sharaputdin Magomedov has signed with @AliAbdelaziz00 for management. 17-0 with 13 finishes along the way. It sounds like he may be signing with a major promotion in the coming days so keep an eye out."

Sharaputdin Magomedov has 17 professional fights, including pro exhibition bouts, under his belt and is undefeated so far. He only has four decision victories among the 17 wins. Magomedov has fought in various Russian promotions, including CWM MMA and AMC.

'Shara Bullet', as he is aptly nicknamed, has garnered a reputation for his fearsome finishes and power-packed strikes. A first-round elbow knockout from him at AMC Fight Night in October last year put him on the radar of many MMA fans.

Ali Abdelaziz confirmed the news by posting on Twitter and telling fans to "Get ready" for fireworks. He posted a picture that was accompanied by a caption saying:

"Get ready. You guys are about to see something special. The bullet, 17-0. The new breed."

Ali Abdelaziz defends Jake Shields in light of recent 'racist' accusations from Mike Jackson

Jake Shields and Mike Jackson got into a tussle at the UFC Performance Institute after Jackson repeatedly accused Shields of being a racist on social media.

Abdelaziz defended his former client, Shields, and dismissed the accusatory labels levied against him by Jackson. He urged fans to desist from terming him any such names and appealed for co-existential harmony:

"I managed @jakeshieldsajj for the last part of his career, and I’m an African Muslim Arab, he has been nothing but amazing to me and honorable, for anyone to say he's racist or label him like this is very sad. I hope we stop calling each other names, because we all bleed the same."

Abdelaziz also asked the two fighters to resolve the issue and shake hands over it and advocated against police involvement in the incident in a subsequent tweet.
