Reigning women's flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko secured a comfortable unanimous decision win against former bantamweight champion Holly Holm when the two squared off at UFC on Fox 20 in 2016.

According to the official fight stats provided by the UFC, 'Bullet' inflicted a total of 87 significant strikes on Holm while receiving 54 from 'The Preacher's Daughter'.

The Kyrgyzstani was clearly head-hunting during the fight, seeing as 44 of her significant strikes were aimed at the American's head. Meanwhile, the majority of Holm's strikes (23) were to Shevchenko's legs.

Shevchenko also held the upper hand in terms of significant strikes landed in all rounds except the first. However, Holm was more successful during the clinches, delivering four strikes.

'Bullet' also had the upper hand in terms of takedowns, securing three out of the seven she attempted, along with enjoying a total control time of 2 mins 43 secs during the fight.

Meanwhile, the American failed to secure a single takedown. However, she did manage 1 min 45 secs of control time by getting the better of Shevchenko during some clinch situations.

All three judges scored the five-rounder 49-46 in favor of 'Bullet'.

Valentina Shevchenko currently holds a pro-MMA record of 23 wins against three losses. She's been undefeated since 2018 and is on a nine-fight win streak.

Holly Holm, meanwhile, is fresh off her May 2022 loss to Ketlen Vieira at UFC Fight Night 206.

Valentina Shevchenko has more finishes than Holly Holm. 'Bullet' has a total of 15 finishes on her MMA resume as opposed to Holm's eight.

While Shevchenko boasts eight knockout wins and seven submissions, all of the American's finishes in mixed martial arts have come by way of knockout.

The Kyrgyzstan native's most recent finish came against Lauren Murphy via a fourth-round TKO at UFC 266. Her last submission win came all the way back in 2018 when she submitted Priscila Cachoeira via a rear-naked choke at UFC Fight Night 125.

'The Preacher's Daughter' last won via finish at UFC Fight Night 111 when she knocked out Bethe Correia with a perfectly placed head kick followed by a left to the face.

Her most memorable finish came at UFC 193 when she became the first woman to knock out UFC legend Ronda Rousey.
