ONE Championship posted a video of Allycia Hellen Rodrigues preparing for her upcoming Muay Thai World Championship fight.
Rodrigues defeated Stamp Fairtex in August 2020 to become the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion. Since then, the 24-year-old has taken time away from fighting to give birth to her son. On March 24, she will return to the circle against interim champion Janet Todd with undisputed status on the line.
The Brazilian Muay Thai world champion was recently seen looking sharp ahead of her clash with Todd. ONE shared the video on Instagram with the caption:

Todd made her promotional debut on February 2019, losing to Stamp Fairtex in Muay Thai. ‘JT’ stayed active in “the art of eight limbs” and kickboxing through 2020. After securing the kickboxing world championship against Stamp, the American focused on Muay Thai, winning two fights in 2021 before becoming the interim atomweight queen with a unanimous decision win against Lara Fernandez.
Before taking time off, Rodrigues looked like she might run the division for several years. The question is, will ring rust be a factor in her return to the circle? With that said, the Brazilian is young and has plenty of time to continue evolving into a superstar.

Allycia Hellen Rodrigues vs. Janet Todd is not the only world championship fight going down at ONE Fight Night 8. In the co-main event, Superlek Kiatmoo9 looks to defend his flyweight kickboxing title against reigning flyweight Muay Thai king Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
The main event features world championship stakes as MMA heavyweight champion Arjan Bhullar will take on interim title holder Anatoly Malykhin. The other bout officially announced are Ham Seo Hee vs. Itsuki Hirata, an atomweight MMA matchup, and Alex Silva vs. Keito Yamakita, a strawweight MMA matchup.
ONE Fight Night 8 takes place inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium and can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
