ONE women's atomweight standout Alyse Anderson is not the kind of woman you'd want to underestimate on the mat. She proved her grappling prowess when she submitted Asha Roka with a slick triangle choke last year at ONE 157. Her combination of clean technique and unstoppable ferocity makes Alyse Anderson a nightmare to deal with on the ground.

In a recent video uploaded by ONE Championship on Instagram, we saw an unwitting male white belt getting tapped multiple times on the mat by the much smaller Anderson. 'Lil' Savage' didn't give the guy any chance to even mount an offense.

Here's the video:

Brazilian Jiujitsu founder and Grandmaster Helio Gracie was a small-framed man who devised techniques that allowed smaller people to defeat bigger opponents. His mastery of leverage and technique has proven that BJJ is a martial art highly effective for women and children.

It's no surprise that Anderson, a seasoned jiujitsu grappler, had no problem subduing and submitting a much larger and stronger man. Never ever underestimate a woman with cauliflower ears when it comes to ground fighting. It's not good for your health.

Alyse Anderson receives her jiujitsu purplebelt

ONE women's atomweight Alyse Anderson, who will fight divisional superstar Stamp Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 10, just received her purple belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu. It's no wonder that she smoothly and soundly manhandled the male whitebelt on the ground. Anderson reached "Faxia Roxa", the midway-point to reaching black belt level.

'Lil' Savage' posted about her monumental promotion on her Instagram profile. She expressed gratitude towards his coach and the gym she trains in, BJJ blackbelt Matthew Linsemier and Magic BJJ, respectively.

Here's the post:

"So grateful I got my purple belt today!!!Magic BJJ @oldmanmagic has always been my home and has kept my love for Jiu-jitsu after all these years on the mat. I'm going to keep adding more tools to my game continue to improve 💜🤘🏼👊🏼"

With more added tools in her grappling arsenal plus tighter technique, Anderson will be much more dangerous on the ground. It makes her match with fellow purplebelt Stamp Fairtex an interesting one as both are arguably on the same level when it comes to grappling.
