Having a long layoff due to circumstances out of one's control is bound to get anyone fired up for their return and ONE Championship star Liam Harrison is looking to make the most out of his opportunity come June 7 at ONE 167.

The English Muay Thai icon is set to face Japanese sensation Katsuki Kitano in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, and the 'Hitman' took to Instagram to share his training camp progress:

"Whether you like it or don't like it ... learn to love it. Woooo"

Harrison last saw action inside the Circle back in 2022 when he challenged fellow Muay Thai legend Nong-O Hama for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship.

Nong-O was not too cautious about trading with Harrison and made the Englishman pay by hitting him with heavy leg kicks that broke down his leg, which eventually gave out on him, allowing Nong-O to win via TKO.

Since then, Harrison was booked to fight twice but pulled out both times due to injuries, though he has dedicated his time on the sidelines to work on his skills in preparation for the Kitano clash.

Liam Harrison talks about importance of ONE 167 bout

At 38 years old, the Bad Company product knows that his career is quickly winding down and admitted that the Kitano fight will mean everything to him.

Speaking with the ONE on SK podcast, Harrison mentioned that if he does not feel like he is still at his best when he fights Kitano, he will not force himself, and the fans by extension, to go on the retirement tour that he has deeply wanted for himself.

ONE 167 will air live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
