Chingiz Allazov was seen dancing after his second-round win in ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video main event.

Allazov has an undeniable reason to celebrate. On January 13, ‘Chinga’ was a sizeable underdog against Superbon, the reigning ONE featherweight kickboxing champion. However, the 29-year-old shocked the kickboxing world by knocking out the world champion just barely a minute into the second stanza.

After knocking out Superbon, Allazov was seen backstage celebrating his win. ONE Championship captured a video of the special moment and put it on Instagram with the caption:

“You earned it, champ! 🏆@chingizallazov"

The first round saw both fighters feeling each other out, with Allazov clearly looking to put pressure on Superbon. As soon as the second round started, the challenger went after the Thai star and never let up. The latter is usually more elusive, but the former world champion couldn’t get out of trouble against Allazov.

‘Chinga’ threw a barrage of power strikes, leading to two consecutive knockdowns. He continued to apply pressure and knocked his opponent out with a thunderous right hand for the third and final knockdown of the fight.

The new featherweight kickboxing world champion followed his flawless performance by remaining humble in his post-fight interview.

Chingiz Allazov shows respect to Superbon after taking his world kickboxing title

Chingiz Allazov is a dangerous fighter, but Superbon was expected to retain his world title and beat him. With that said, ‘Chinga’ was locked in on fight night and secured the biggest win of his career.

The new featherweight kickboxing world champion took some time to celebrate before embracing his opponent.

ONE Championship posted an Instagram video of Allazov showing respect to the former champion with the caption:

“Respect above all 🙏 @chingizallazov @superbon_banchamek”

Allazov earned a world title shot against Superbon after winning the ONE featherweight kickboxing world Grand Prix in 2022. The 29-year-old defeated Jo Nattawut and Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong before dethroning the reigning champion. The question is, what’s next?

There is a solid chance Superbon will get an immediate rematch, but it’s not guaranteed because of how dominant Allazov looked in his win. If the former world champion doesn’t get an immediate rematch, ‘Chinga’ could end up defending his belt against No.2-ranked contender Marat Grigorian.

Regardless of the opponent, the new ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion is preparing for a long title reign.
