ONE on Prime Video 4 features lightweight king Christian Lee moving up to challenge Kiamrian Abbasov for the welterweight world title at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

'The Warrior' recently regained his lightweight strap and revenge by defeating Rae Yoon Ok in their second meeting. He's now making a quick turnaround in what is too good of an opportunity for him to pass up.

Lee predicted how he'd attain the welterweight belt in the promo for ONE on Prime Video 4. Catch the video below:

“I’ll take the finish as soon as it comes, whenever I can. But I think it’s going to be a submission in the third round.”

Securing the welterweight belt and becoming a simultaneous two-division champion would take his stardom to another level. Win or lose, Lee will go down as one of the greatest fighters in ONE history whenever he decides to hang up the gloves.

Christian Lee keeping an eye on lightweight contenders

While Lee is shifting focus to welterweight for his upcoming bout, he hasn't forgotten about the elite contenders down at lightweight. In an interview with ONE Championship, Lee discussed the state of the lightweight division:

"Halil Amir, yeah, he had a great performance, just knocking out Timofey [Nastyukhin]. And then Saygid [Izagakhmaev], I've been watching him since he joined the promotion. I think if he gets a good win over Shinya [Aoki], he's going to be next in line for the title, and with Amir too, getting that knockout over Timofey puts him right on the rankings."

Lee has already defeated No.1-ranked Ok Rae Yoon, and No.2-ranked Dagi Arslanaliev hasn't fought since December 2021. Meanwhile, No.3-ranked contender Halil Amir is on track for a title shot after defeating Timofey Nastyukhin. Lastly, the other top five lightweights, Saygid Izagakhmaev and Shinya Aoki, are scheduled to throw down at ONE 163 on November 18.

Christian Lee has several viable options waiting for him at lightweight. Also, securing welterweight gold will open the door for Lee to face a whole new crop of contenders. Expect Lee to be involved in more marquee bouts in the near future.

Be sure to tune in to ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18 to watch Christian Lee's attempt at becoming a double-champ.
