Former ONE bantamweight world champion John Lineker will get his shot at redemption against his rival Fabricio Andrade at ONE Fight Night 7. 'Hands of Stone' had quite a frustrating late 2022 as he lost his world title in the worst way possible.

Leading up to their first fight, Lineker and Andrade were trading verbal fire at each other for weeks. At the weigh-in, however, 'Hands of Stone' failed to meet the weight and was stripped of the belt. On fight night, only 'Wonder Boy' was eligible to win the ONE bantamweight world title.

The fight itself was quite exciting with both warriors going all-out. In round 3, Andrade connected with a solid knee to the body that hurt John Lineker. Upon trying to finish the bout, 'Wonder Boy' inadvertedly hit Lineker with a groin shot. The impact was so strong that Lineker couldn't continue anymore, leaving the world title vacant that night.

With the chance to run it back and right his wrongs from the fight clash, John Lineker is motivated more than ever. In a short video package put together by ONE, we saw a short profile on 'Hands of Stone' and what to expect come ONE Fight Night 7:

Fabricio Andrade calls John Lineker out for not attending face-to-face interview

To promote ONE Fight Night 7 main event, Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker were supposed to be part of a face-to-face interview. Unfortunately, due to undisclosed reasons, Lineker could not attend the interview. Needless to say, Andrade used this as an opportunity to call out his bitter rival:

“Man, it must be embarrassing for him. He's going to show up, and what is he going to say? Even in the last interview, he probably is just embarrassed. He doesn't want to be in this position. So I don't know why. I'm not angry or mad or anything. I think it's just funny that he didn't show up.”

Andrade vs. Lineker 2 goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. In the co-headlining spot, ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK.Saenchai looks to defend his throne for the first time against Russia's Jamal Yusupov.

Elsewhere on the card will be the return of American grappling star Danielle Kelly as she takes on Japanese MMA grappler Ayaka Miura in a submission grappling match. Meanwhile, other noteworthy bouts include Eko Roni Saputra vs. Danny Kingad and Martin Nguyen vs. Razhab Shaydullaev.

The exciting event can be seen for free by all North American Prime Video subscribers this Friday, February 24, on U.S. primetime.
