Kamaru Usman shares video from set of 'Black Panther' with character make-up on

Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman was in the recently released Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie. In the Marvel blockbuster, Usman played the role of a Naval Officer. The UFC star had a limited amount of on-screen presence as he was mostly cast as a cameo.

In a recent tweet on his official Twitter handle, 'The Nigerian Nightmare' shared a little glimpse of how he got ready for his shoot every day. In the clip, the 35- year-old could be seen grooving to B.D'Or by Burna Boy featuring WizKid.

Posting the clip, the Nigerian-born wrote:

"In case you were wondering how I got ready every day on set for @theblackpanther 😂😂😂 If you haven’t seen it yet, go check out the movie of the year@MarvelStudios#wakandaforever."

The sequel to the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe hit film Black Panther, Wakanda Forever, is centered on the death of the previous film's protagonist, King T'Challa, and the subsequent attack on Wakanda.

The film was released on November 11th and has since received 7.4/10 on IMDb and 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. According to reports, the film debuted at number one in all Asia-Pacific and European markets, grossing $10.1 million on day one.

Kamaru Usman details timeline of title rematch with Leon Edwards

AT UFC 278, despite dominating Leon Edwards for the majority of the fight, Kamaru Usman was knocked out in the final minute of the fifth round. A well-timed left kick from his opponent led to him losing his gold strap to 'Rocky.'

'The Nigerian Nightmare' revealed in a recent interview with TMZ Sports that his only goal right now is to avenge his loss and reclaim the 170-pound strap. Also revealing a timeline for the potential rematch, the Nigerian said:

"Yeah, I'd go grab that [welterweight title] back probably top of next year. I think we'll make that happen. Of course, like I said that night after it happened, I would love to got to England and do this in England." (1:00 mark)

With his recent loss to Edwards, Kamaru Usman now has a career record of 20 wins and two losses. With a potential trilogy with Edwards, it will be interesting to see whether the former welterweight champion is able to get his belt back or if he will settle for a loss once again.
