Nobody is safe from Nong-O Hama’s brutal kicks. Not even the person holding the camera in the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion’s latest video posted on Instagram.
In the clip, which you can see below, Nong-O can be seen putting in some work on a heavy bag before turning his attention to the camera operator, presumably his wife, delivering a kick that appears to have knocked her over.
“Oh!!! I’am sorry my dear 🤣,” the caption read.
Nong-O has been the subject of many hilarious videos on social media as a result of his wife’s interest in becoming a successful YouTuber. Often focusing the content on her world champion husband, the pair can often be seen online supporting one another. In an interview with ONE Championship, Nong-O discussed his wife’s latest passion.
“My wife is a housewife, she cooks and takes care of me and everything, but over the past few weeks, she has been interested in becoming a YouTuber by creating content about me.”
Fans last saw Nong-O at the inaugural ONE Friday Fights event in January where he defended his Muay Thai crown against Russian striker Alaverdi Ramazanov. Nong-O scored a third-round knockout to secure his 10th straight victory under the ONE Championship banner.
Nong-O Hama is happy to support his wife’s passion project
When it comes to the art of eight limbs, few men do it better than Nong-O Hama. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said when it comes to acting in his wife’s YouTube videos.
“I’m a bad actor,” Nong-O admitted. “I have to repeat 10 times to meet her requirements. My wife sends me a script, but I can’t remember the script. Sometimes, she comes to the gym with her camera to record my training sessions. I’m happy to see her enjoying her new hobby.”
The Thai superstar may not be the best actor in the world, but he is undeniably one of the greatest Muay Thai practitioners of all time. At 36 years old, Nong-O has earned an incredible 265 career victories with ten of those coming inside the circle.
Of those 10, Nong-O has put away some of the best to step foot in the global combat sports promotion, including Liam ‘The Hitman’ Harrison, Saemapetch Fairtex, and the aforementioned Alaverdi Ramazanov.
