Rodtang Jitmuangnon decided to become a monk

ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is the perfect example of a master who can separate his ferocity from his peaceful side.

The Thai superstar recently decided to join a Thai tradition and become a Buddhist monk and live in a temple for 15 days. This Thai custom is practiced by young men across the country, including Muay Thai fighters like ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK.Saenchai and Muay Thai icon Buakaw Banchamek.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon shaved his head, traded his Muay Thai shorts for Buddhist robes, and practiced daily meditations.

In a recent video posted on his Instagram account, Rodtang can be seen in full monk attire. The ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion interacted with people on the streets together with his fellow monks.
