Ryan Spann provided a moment of levity during his face-off with Nikita Krylov ahead of their UFC Fight Night 220 bout. Spann struggled to contain his laughter during the stare-down, leading to an unexpected and humorous moment.

The incident occurred during the official weigh-in, with both fighters squaring off ahead of their light heavyweight matchup. However, Spann's unexpected laughter caught everyone off guard, including Krylov and the fans in attendance.

It remains unclear what prompted Spann's sudden outburst, but the moment provided a brief respite from the otherwise serious and tense atmosphere of the weigh-in. Despite the momentary lapse in seriousness, both fighters remained focused and determined to give it their all in the upcoming bout.

How long have Nikita Krylov and Ryan Spann competed in UFC?

Between the two fighters, Krylov boasts a higher level of experience, having competed at the top level for a longer period of time. Despite initially debuting in the UFC as a heavyweight in 2013, it was Krylov's move down to the light heavyweight division in 2014 that seemed to rejuvenate his career.

Ryan Spann, on the other hand, made a strong impression in his UFC debut in 2018, racking up four consecutive victories and establishing himself as a fighter to keep an eye on. Although he has since suffered two losses, he has also claimed victories over tough opponents such as Dominick Reyes, Ion Cutelaba and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

At present, Nikita Krylov occupies the #6 spot in the UFC's light-heavyweight division, while Spann is ranked two positions below him at #8. Given that both fighters are currently riding two-fight win streaks, their upcoming bout is expected to be closely contested.
