Chingiz Allazov still considers Superbon “one of the best kickboxers on the planet”

Despite defeating Superbon on the grand stage, Chingiz Allazov will always see him as one of the most accomplished kickboxers on the planet.

Indeed, the Pattaya-bred fighter is a technical fighting machine who has fought and won against the best kickboxers of this generation, including Giorgio Petrosyan, Sitthichai, and Marat Grigorian with dominant effects.

Although Allazov solved the puzzle on how to beat the reigning champion, he nonetheless paid respect to his former rival with the following statement at the ONE Fight Night 6 press interviews:

“I have big respect to this guy, you know. He is real and is one of the best kickboxers on the planet. I see many fights of his. I have a big respect for him."

Azerbaijani-Belarusian talent Chingiz Allazov earned his shot at the coveted world title after winning the ONE featherweight kickboxing World Grand Prix the year before.

In quick fashion, he edged out three of the most notable names in the sport, Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, Jo Nattawut, and Samy Sana.

Almost immediately, Allazov stood out from his other competitors with his insane ability to close the distance and find the finish with a barrage of punches and head kicks.

When he challenged Superbon for the bantamweight world title, ‘Chinga’ utilized all those innovative techniques to his advantage to dethone the Thai-bred champion with a brutal KO in the second round.

But the former divisional king will recover and he’ll be back again to train for his next fight soon. The question is, who is next?
