Former ONE two-division champ Aung La N Sang transformed from hero to legend with his TKO over Alexandre Machado that earned him double-champ status.

'The Burmese Python' is a bonafide icon in the world of combat sports, even having his own bronze statue built in 2018 at the Kachin National Manau Park in his hometown of Myitkyina, Myanmar.

Aung La N Sang's picture-perfect head kick at ONE: Quest for Gold took his fame to a whole other level. The victory made him the promotion's second-ever two-division world champion after Martin Nguyen achieved the feat a few months prior.

Aung La N Sang says that everyone is beatable in the fight game, hopes to show evolution of skills in next bout

A veteran of the fight game, Aung La knows that many are capable of being beaten at some point. He spoke to the South China Morning Post about that notion and the evolution of his skills, stating:

"Everyone is beatable, everyone is beatable. It’s just that in MMA, you don’t have enough fights, you know? You have a hundred fights, I guarantee you’re not gonna win all of them. The Thai guys have like 300 fights, everybody has, there’s always ways to beat somebody on a certain night."

The 37-year-old added:

“Evolution is what I hope the fans see. An evolution to my game, that I can do everything, that I can do it at a high level, and that I’m a fan-friendly fighter – meaning that it’s a fight that fans will get to enjoy."

The former champ is scheduled to make his next appearance at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video in May. He'll take on China's Rong Fan Rong, who is 2-2 inside ONE Championship, with wins over Sherif Mohamed and Yuri Simoes.

Be sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5 to watch Aung La N Sang take on Fan Rong live from the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
