Xiong Jing Nan will return at ONE 168: Denver on September 6, 2024, to defend her strawweight crown once again. The last time that she fended off a contender for the belt was at the conclusion of an epic trilogy between two world champions.
At ONE on Prime Video 2, the Chinese world champion faced off with atomweight queen Angela Lee. The fight ended up being the last of Lee's incredible career before she retired last year. 'The Panda' put on a dominant performance to keep hold of her title, taking the edge in their rivalry, having beaten Lee both times that they met at strawweight.

Xiong Jing Nan now finds herself in another champion vs champion clash.
With Lee announcing her retirement at ONE Fight Night 14 last September, the vacant title was won by Stamp Fairtex following her finish over Ham Seo Hee.
The challenge for the defending champion in this fight is that Stamp poses a completely different threat compared to Lee before her. While Lee would attempt to take the Chinese champion to the ground where she excelled with her jiu-jitsu, the current atomweight queen is a striking phenom.
