Floyd Mayweather hails the "boxing pedigree" of Mexican fighters

The Mexican spirit of fighting is a celebrated phenomenon in combat sports. UFC CEO Dana White is recognizing that spirit by orchestrating the Riyadh Season Noche UFC card that celebrates these qualities.

During his time competing as a professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather has shared the ring with several Mexican fighters. The American recently arrived in Mexico City for his boxing rematch against John Gotti III. Speaking about Mexican fighters in a recent interview with Fightmag, he said:

"Mexico City great place… The whole country of Mexico… Just the boxing pedigree… The country of Mexico has been unbelievable throughout my whole life. I’m just happy that you know I’m able to come to the country of Mexico, I’m able to come to Mexico City, and just showcase my talent. Truly-truly unbelievable.
