Besides his reputation as one of the best boxers to grace the boxing ring, Floyd Mayweather has built a brand on the display of his extravagant lifestyle. The 47-year-old is scheduled to take on John Gotti III in a rematch on August 24, 2024, at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.
Mayweather often projects an image of success and wealth and has deployed it as a promotional strategy in the lead-up to some fights. In line with that notion, the American boxer recently displayed heaps of cash with the caption, "Tune in to the cash cow this Saturday."

Floyd Mayweather hails the "boxing pedigree" of Mexican fighters
The Mexican spirit of fighting is a celebrated phenomenon in combat sports. UFC CEO Dana White is recognizing that spirit by orchestrating the Riyadh Season Noche UFC card that celebrates these qualities.
During his time competing as a professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather has shared the ring with several Mexican fighters. The American recently arrived in Mexico City for his boxing rematch against John Gotti III. Speaking about Mexican fighters in a recent interview with Fightmag, he said:
"Mexico City great place… The whole country of Mexico… Just the boxing pedigree… The country of Mexico has been unbelievable throughout my whole life. I’m just happy that you know I’m able to come to the country of Mexico, I’m able to come to Mexico City, and just showcase my talent. Truly-truly unbelievable. Just like I said before, the boxing pedigree… So many legendary champions [are] from Mexico and there’s a lot of Mexican fighters throughout my life that I truly-truly loved.” [H/t: Fightmag]
