Andrew Tate, a well-known figure on social media, recently made headlines once again for his involvement in a strange turn of events. It all began with a tweet in which he bragged about the emissions produced by his collection of luxury cars and directed it at climate activist Greta Thunberg.

However, the situation took a darker turn when Tate was subsequently detained in Romania for an investigation into allegations of human trafficking and rape.

Andrew Tate, a social media personality, tweeted bragging about his car collection at Thunberg, a 19-year-old climate activist, on December 27:

"Hello Greta Thunberg. I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start. Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions.

As a result, Thunberg responded with the following:

Andrew Tate responded to the criticism by posting a video on social media in which he was seen smoking a cigar and wearing a robe with a pizza box visible in the frame.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were apprehended by Romanian authorities after a raid on two properties in connection to charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming an organized crime group. According to a statement from the Romanian anti-organized-crime unit, the brothers were detained as part of a larger investigation into human trafficking and organized crime. Some people on the internet speculated that the pizza box prominently featured in one of Tate's videos from a pizza company based in Romania could have alerted authorities to his presence in the country, leading to his arrest. However, this was not the case.

How long will Andrew Tate be imprisoned?

It seems that Andrew 'Cobra' Tate, a former British-American kickboxer, will remain in police custody in Romania as his release has been delayed. Along with his younger brother Tristan Tate, Andrew was apprehended in December 2022 for allegedly committing several offenses, including human trafficking, rape, and the production of pornographic content.

Although he has denied the accusations against him, Andrew Tate is still being investigated.

'Top G' and his brother's appeal against his imprisonment has been dismissed for the second time by a Romanian court. This means that he and his brother will remain in jail at least until February 27, although there is a possibility that the deadline may be extended. If their second appeal is also denied, they might face up to four more months in prison, extending their stay until June. According to Mirror.Co.UK, this delay could be a result of the Tate brothers' legal team requesting more time to gather evidence and build their case.
