Tristan Tate, brother of Andrew Tate, was also a kickboxer, albeit not as successful as his brother. Tristan holds a record of 43 wins and nine losses, winning two European Kickboxing Championships over the course of his career.

Tristan also played an active role in the development of Andrew Tate's fighting career, serving as one of his primary sparring partners. He was presumably an important figure in Andrew Tate's fight camps.

The 34-year-old helped his brother, Andrew achieve a kickboxing record of 76 wins, with only nine defeats. With 23 finishes and 4 ISKA Kickboxing World Championships to his name, Andrew Tate went on to become an accomplished fighter.

Ultimately, both Tate brothers called time on their kickboxing careers fairly early. While it is reported that Andrew suffered from eye injuries, Tristan has openly spoken on why he called it quits.

Citing financial reasons, Tristan said:

"Andrew was a very successful kickboxer, but the most he ever got paid for a fight was 50 grand. By the time you pay your trainer and your manager 10% each, you gotta eat, you gotta train for 12 weeks. By the time you look at the hours you've put in, you're making 15 bucks an hour...it's not amazing money."

Tristan has also said that an accident caused by a taxi driver crashing into him and damaging his shoulder was another big reason as to why he could not compete at the highest level anymore.

Who is the better fighter? Tristan Tate or Andrew Tate?

Both Tristan and Andrew Tate are accomplished fighters in their own right. Going by the records and their credentials, Andrew Tate does have the superior record. He captured four championships, compared to Tristan's 2.

The two were asked about it, and Tristan was willing to concede that Andrew would beat him every time if it were a kickboxing rules bout.

"In a kickboxing match, you win every time. You were the best kickboxer in the world. When people say this to me, your brother would beat you at kickboxing, you know what my reply is? My brother would beat you at kickboxing. He's the world champion."

Tristan, however, also stated that the two would never fight and so, the question, in the first place, was silly.
