Mike Brown, Javier Mendez, Firas Zahabi, and Greg Jackson, whom Conor McGregor slammed on Twitter, are four of the most accomplished MMA coaches in recent years. Each of these individuals has guided many a UFC champion throughout the years.

Mike Brown is a former UFC fighter. After retiring in 2014, Brown stayed on at the American Top Team, eventually becoming one of the most sought-after coaches in the sport.

He has mentored the likes of former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier, and BMF champion Jorge Masvidal, among others.

Javier Mendez is a former ISKA world champion kickboxer and the founder of the American Kickboxing Academy.

He has trained highly accomplished fighters, including lightweight legend Khabib Nurmagomedov, former two-division champion Daniel Cormier, and former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, among others. He is also the coach of reigning lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

Firas Zahabi is the head coach at the Tristar Gym in Quebec, Canada. Zahabi is perhaps best known for having been the head coach of the UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre during his historic run in the UFC.

Greg Jackson is the founder of the prestigious Jackson-Wink MMA facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The gym has had no shortage of talent since its inception and has been home to many superstars, including former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and former UFC star Donald Cerrone. Jackson is also the head coach of reigning heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

In a now-deleted tweet, UFC superstar Conor McGregor slammed these MMA coaches while simultaneously professing his own coach John Kavanagh's superiority over them.

Conor McGregor claims he is the GOAT in a hilarious tweet

Conor McGregor believes that he is the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. The Irishman reaffirmed his belief in a hilarious new tweet. In typical McGregor fashion, his choice of words for the tweet was particularly crafty.

'The Notorious' stated:

"I’ve decided to grow a goatee cos I’m the f****n goat."

The 34-year-old is one of the most accomplished mixed martial artists of all time. The fiery Irishman is the first simultaneous two-division champion in UFC history. He also boasts wins in three weight divisions.

Additionally, McGregor fight cards have always been highly lucrative for the UFC. The Irishman's 2018 showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov is the highest-selling UFC pay-per-view of all time.

However, 'The Notorious' hasn't tasted victory in over three years. He is 2-3 in his last five fights and suffered back-to-back defeats against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
