Swedish standout Zebaztian Kadestam is tired of not getting the recognition he deserves.

‘The Bandit’ is on the verge of making a big splash inside the circle, but to do so, he’ll need to get past dangerous Croatian welterweight Roberto Soldic. The two are scheduled to scrap inside the circle at the 1stBank Center in Colorado when ONE Championship makes its long-awaited North American debut.

Zebaztian Kadestam previously called for a fight with Soldic, and he’ll get exactly that as part of the stacked ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video lineup. Weeks away from the biggest fight of his career, Kadestam spoke with ONE Championship and vented some frustration over the lack of credit for his work inside the circle.

“I’ve been fighting for a long time, and I believe it’s time to get credit for what I’m doing.”

Debuting for ONE in 2017, ‘The Bandit’ went 4-1 in his first five outings, the lone loss coming against former ONE world champion Ben Askren. Kadestam did run into a streak of losses between 2019 and 2021, but the strength of schedule was considerable, facing former welterweight champion Kiamrian Abbasov and undefeated Russian standout Murad Ramazanov.

Zebaztian Kadestam bounced back in 2022, earning back-to-back wins against Valmir Da Silva and Iuri Lapicus. He’ll look to score the biggest win of his career against knockout artist Roberto ‘Robocop’ Soldic on May 5.

Zebaztian Kadestam will have plenty of time to prepare for Roberto Soldic

In just eight weeks' time, ONE Championship will present one of the biggest nights in promotional history. ONE Fight Night 10 will be ONE’s first event on American soil, and they are stacking the lineup to deliver a can’t-miss spectacle.

The main event of the evening will feature a highly anticipated trilogy bout between reigning ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson and former titleholder Adriano Moraes. Before two of the greatest flyweights of all time step into the Circle, fans will be treated to a welterweight clash between Zebaztian Kadestam and 2022’s hottest free agent MMA signing, Roberto Soldic.

Soldic is one of the most prolific knockout artists in all of mixed martial arts, winning 17 of his 20 total victories by way of knockout. Knowing the danger that ‘Robocop’ brings to the cage, Kadestam is thankful to have an adequate amount of time to prepare for what is sure to be a heavy-hitting war.

"I got offered the fight a week ago, and I was really happy,” Kadestam revealed. “It’s perfect timing. I have a lot of time to prepare. He’s a good opponent, so I’ll take him any time I can get him. I’m going to come prepared."
