The great Nong-O Hama is preparing for his next title defense at ONE Fight Night 9 on Prime Video, and his fans are predicting how his bout with Jonathan Haggerty will play out.

Nong-O is currently in the midst of the most dominant run in ONE Championship Muay Thai history, winning his last 10 bouts, with his last five coming by knockout.

The ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king is gearing up to make his eighth title defense. This time, he'll welcome England's Jonathan Haggerty, who has won three straight inside the circle.

Fans have been making their predictions on the title fight via Instagram.

@bigtalljim penned: "Yeah wow. Big test for The General"
@trstar_original wrote: "I feel sorry for John. I'd give it to him if he doesn't get KOd."
@kasey.db shared: "Haggertys only just moved up the weight class, he hasn’t even gone thru ramazanov, rodlek or anyone else at the top of the division and is going straight to face Nong O the goat. He couldn’t take body shots from rodtang. Not doubting him as a fighter but he has bitten off way more than he can chew 😂"
@dani_g2k posted: "I like watching Haggerty but I don’t think this match will be balanced at all. Different levels completely, Nong-O will ruin him."
@stokesy_one commented: "I'm not disrespecting Haggerty, I like him and always look forward to his fights. But I think Nong-O wins this fight easily. Haggerty won't be raking his power. I can see Nong-O making short work of Haggerty like he did Harrison."
@crimdawgx added: "Nong O win by body shot KO."

Nong-O explains how his life changed after moving to Singapore

The 26-year-old Thai native made the decision to move to Singapore several years ago, which he claims changed his life entirely. He told ONE:

"My whole life changed completely. When I was fighting in Thailand, I lost and won. Sometimes, I couldn’t find any opponent to fight, which meant no income for me. But after I moved to Singapore, I had [a regular] salary. My family's quality of life improved greatly. I could support my parents as well.”

He will return to his home country for his next bout, as he will take on Haggerty at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok. Notably, his last match against Alaverdi Ramazanov also took place there.

Make sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 9 on April 21 to watch Nong-O look to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai crown against Johnathan Haggerty, live from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The entire event will be broadcast live and for free to Amazon Prime subscribers in North America.
