Reinier de Ridder revealed his top five favorite workout songs.

‘The Dutch Knight’ has emerged as arguably the best fighter in ONE Championship after becoming a two-division champion between middleweight and light heavyweight. Despite his tremendous success, the 32-year-old has a mellow personality and doesn’t do many interviews. He recently made an Instagram post to reveal his personality more with the caption:

“BEAST MODE ACTIVATED 🔥 These are my 5 fave tracks to train on. #hiphop #workout #train #mma #beastmode”

De Ridder listed these five songs as his favorites for training:

“Fu-Gee-La by Fugees, Beter Dan Goed by Spanker, Hit ‘Em Up by 2Pac, Fade by Kanye West, and De Regel by Hef”

De Ridder likely needs his favorite songs now more than ever as he prepares for Anatoly Malykhin at ONE on Prime Video 5. ‘The Dutch Knight's' next challenge is a light heavyweight world title defense against the interim heavyweight world champion.

The two-division king is always prepared to be tested. Although De Ridder has dominated the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions, Malykhin is a combination of skill and size that ‘The Dutch Knight’ has not yet faced. De Ridder can also take the next step towards becoming a future three-division title holder by taking out the interim heavyweight world champion.

Reinier de Ridder is moving on from Arjan Bhullar matchup

Reinier de Ridder has been adamant about becoming a three-division and possibly a four-division champion. ‘The Dutch Knight’ was interested in fighting the undisputed heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar before injuries and contract negotiations kept ‘Singh’ sidelined. During an interview with SCMP MMA, De Ridder had this to say about Bhullar:

“Yeah, but who knows what happens to Bhullar? I’m done chasing that. He’s not available, he doesn’t want to fight. He’s not relevant at the moment.”

While Bhullar was inactive, Anatoly Malykhin defeated Kirill Grishenko to become the interim heavyweight world champion. ‘Singh’ is expected to return in January 2023, which would make for an intriguing discussion if De Ridder beats Malykhin. ‘The Dutch Knight’ won’t be the interim heavyweight champion with a win over 'Sladkiy', but he will have proved himself worthy of a title shot.
