Q. You have won both your fights since your last title challenge. Do you think you'll be challenging for the title again anytime soon?

JDS: I don’t need to qualify myself for the title, I can fight or the title at any point but of course I have to come from some wins which is what I am doing now and then the matchup has to be interesting for the UFC. Whatever happens, at some point, it’s going to happen, even if it’s not right now or later, at some point I am going to fight for the title again because I am going to keep beating these guys and at some point they will have no other option but to give me the title fight.

Q. You talked about a rematch with Alistair Overeem. Is that something we can look forward to down the line?

JDS: Actually yes, all the re-matches I can have in my life against Stipe, Overeem, Velasquez – they would all be very good for me in the UFC and something that is interesting for me. There would be something else that I am fighting for with all of these guys. But in this case, I have been saying for a very long time that I want to fight him again and have this re-match, it would be very important for me. Overeem though, will never accept it, he knows how lucky he was that night and he will never accept the fight again so I don’t think it will happen.

Q. What's your preparation like heading into a fight with someone as unpredictable as Derrick Lewis?

JDS: I don’t think Derrick Lewis is unpredictable, but my preparation is always very hard for all my opponents, I take that very seriously. Your most important fight is always the next one, so I am taking this fight very seriously. I am very well prepared for this fight and I am ready to go in there and win this.
