A spinning back fist ended Martin Bravo

The first MMA fight of the night on the main card was one of the only fights on the card that ended with a stoppage instead of a decision.

Bravo and Peterson had several good exchanges, with Bravo taking the first round by storm, getting the better of Steven Peterson. However, the UFC Mexico fight night would not see this domination last. Peterson came out firing in the second round and before too long, both went at each other with spinning shots. While Peterson was able to avoid the spinning elbow, Bravo was caught with the spinning back fist which ended the fight extremely suddenly.

Irene Aldana vs Vanessa Melo

Vanessa Melo was outclassed in this fight

If there was one fight on this card which was entirely one-sided, then it has to be the one between Irene Aldana and Vanessa Melo. From the get-go, it appeared that Melo was entirely outclassed by Aldana, who displayed no weakness and poured on the punishment.

Melo kept stepping forward and opening herself up to shot after shot.

The first two rounds were easy wins for Aldana, but the entire fight shifted even more in her favor in the third round as Melo tried to go for broke.

Unfortunately for her, all she did was open herself up to even more offense from Aldana, who took advantage and pushed the punishment on Melo as the fight came to an end.
