UFC News: Snoop Dogg reacts to Khabib Nurmagomedov's fight with Michael Johnson

Despite not getting a title shot, Khabib Nurmagomedov didn’t fall short at impressing the spectators at UFC 205.

Khabib picked up his 24th straight victory in his undefeated MMA career with a flawless victory over Michael Johnson via submission. The classy lightweight fighter's performance caught the attention of the star rapper, Snoop Dogg who was impressed by Nurmagomedov's fighting skills.

The hip-hop star has buddied up with several fighters in the past, especially with the Diaz brothers. Now, Dogg has complimented the Russian UFC fighter in an Instagram post:

He was quoted as saying:

“I got my my money on this n**ga Khabib. I ain’t never heard of him, but the way I’m seeing him fuck this n**ga up, I got Khabib (Nurmagomedov) over anyone in lightweight, whoever lightweight.”

The rapper appears to have been watching the fight very closely. It looked like Dogg was enjoying watching Nurmagomedov dominate his foe Johnson on the canvas as he made several excited comments about the fight.

Khabib still undefeated, 24-0.

Snoop Dogg’s reaction to the fight’s progression and finish was nothing short of amazement. As Nurmagomedov neared the finish and positioned himself to secure the Kimura lock, Snoop reacted by saying:

“Khabib playing games with him, putting his nuts in his face and all kinds of shit.”

“Yeah he’s finna do something to choke this n**ga out and get him to submit.”

After Khabib finished Michael Johnson off, Snoop Dogg was quoted as saying:

“Wow, n**ga 24-0, He a bad motherf**ker. That’s my new n**ga now.”

Looks like the rapper has found a new fighter to back.

Nurmagomedov demanded a title shot during the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. He justified his demand with his latest performance. With his win over Michael Johson, he seals his 24th victory inside the cage and still remains undefeated.

Neither Dana White nor Conor McGregor have responded directly to Khabib’s demands of a title shot yet.
