UFC on ESPN: Roosevelt 'The Predator' Roberts on his upcoming fight and more (Exclusive)

Roosevelt Roberts is continuing his MMA journey at UFC on ESPN 3. The up and coming fighter will be taking on Vinc Pichel in an effort to continue on his path to where he wants to go.

The card is being headlined by a tremendous bout by two top heavyweight fighters of UFC. Junior dos Santos is taking on Francis Ngannou. If there was ever a fight with title shot repercussions, this would be it. In the co-main event of the night, a Flyweight fight with title repercussions is also set to take place, as Jussier Formiga will be facing Joseph Benavidez.

Before his fight, I had the chance to ask Roosevelt 'the Predator' Roberts a few questions about his upcoming fight and more.

Q. What does it feel like to be fighting Vinc Pichel?

RR: I feel like he's just another opponent, another guy in my way where I am trying to go.

Q. What has your training been like?

RR: Training's been the same as usual. A lot of stand-up, lots of groundwork, lots of strength conditioning.

Q. How would you describe your journey has been to this moment?

RR: I would describe it as long. Long but fast in a way. It has always been a learning process.

Q. What are some of your hobbies other than fighting?

RR: Not really too much, I take care of my kids and that's really it.

Q. How important is this fight to you?

RR: This fight is important because this is going to take me where I need to go.
