At UFC on ESPN 3, Vinc Pichel is scheduled to take on Roosevelt 'The Predator' Roberts in a fight which will help either man to determine the course of their MMA career. With the main event of Francis Ngannou vs Junior dos Santos and Joseph Benavidez vs Jussier Formiga, the card is stacked.

Before his fight, I had the chance to ask Vinc Pichel a few questions about his upcoming fight, his hobbies, and more.

Tune in to UFC ESPN 3 Live on the 30th of June, at 6:30 AM on Sony Ten 2 and Sony Ten 2 HD.

Vinc Pichel

Q. Having lost your last fight, what is your mentality like heading into this fight?

VP: Beat the s**t out of someone. Am I allowed to curse? (laughs)

Q. What do you make of your opponent, Roosevelt Roberts?

VP: He's a tough kid, very well rounded with his striking and his grappling! I am gonna kick his a**. (laughs)

Q. What has your journey been like to this point?

VP: Pretty crazy! Lots of ups, lots of downs, lots of middles, just crazy. Lots of things that I did not expect would happen in life, lots of things that I thought would happen but was not really sure would happen. But here I am, I am still here!

Q. How difficult was the training camp before this fight, and how are you feeling health-wise?

VP: Training camp is training camp. They s**k. You work your ass off, you are tired and sore all the time. No injuries, no soreness. My diet is good, my weight is good, lot's of confidence. I feel great. This was one of those training camps where everything fell together in pieces, which is really cool.

Q. If you were to fight any one fighter in the UFC from the past or the present, who would it be?

VP: Oh jeez, this is always the hard one. If I were to fight any one from any weight, I would probably want ... there's like so many people that I would beat the h**l out of that have those faces. One that sticks with me the most, are people that I have already met like Vincent Harrison. He was a f***ing d***he when I met him. Clay Guido was the same way. There's a couple of other guys in the fighter's summit that I would like to punch in the mouth too. Just the guys who are not cool. I have met fighters, growing up being a fan of the sport, when I meet them and they are d*****bags like that, then I just want to punch them in the mouth. (laughs)

Q. What are some of your hobbies outside fighting?

VP: Anything fun. I am a giant-a** kid. I play a lot of video games, I stream video games. I have a remote controlled car. I like to go hiking and stuff. I am an adrenaline junkie, I love doing sky-diving, bungee jumping anything like that. I am an old skater, so skating is really fun and attractive to me, I do that from time to time. Dirt biking as well! Anything that's fun and risky and kind of dangerous, I love to do and they put a smile on my face.
