UFC Heavyweight Division

Finally, the UFC Heavyweight Division saw quite a bit of movement in the rankings as well. There two Heavyweight fights on the card, all of which affected the UFC rankings in one way or the other.

The first fight of the night saw the previously unranked Jairzinho Rozenstruik take on and defeat the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski. Arlovski has not been pushing the upper echelons of the division for quite a while and is currently unranked.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik's victory over Arlovski saw him climb to #14, while Maurice Greene is now ranked at #15. Augusto Sakai fell a point to #12.

Meanwhile, in the main card of the night, Derrick Lewis put on an extraordinary performance against Blagov Ivanov. The performance was enough for the former title contender to remain ranked at #5. On the other hand, Ivanov slipped down the rankings in the UFC

He slid down two spots to #10, while in turn Walt Harris was pushed up to #9, and Shamil Abdurakhimov to #8.
