There has been a lot of speculation since the news broke that Endeavor, the parent company of the UFC, is acquiring WWE. One of the questions being asked is whether the world's premier MMA organization will have a new CEO post the merger with WWE.

Although both promotions will have the same parent company, the respective faces of these organizations, Dana White and Vince McMahon, will have full creative control over their respective businesses.

Here's what Ari Emanuel said about the merger and how the acquisition will affect both sports brands, according to CNBC:

"Here’s what we said, and I said it to [Vince McMahon] — if we disagree on something that we want to do, guess what? We’re not doing it. It’s the relationship I have with Silver Lake. It’s the relationship that I have with Dana [White]. Dana’s got the say as it relates to the UFC, Vince as it relates to the WWE. He’s going to have the say. We have nothing to do with the creative process. That’s Vince’s and that’s Dana’s situation."

Ari Emanuel will serve as CEO for both promotions going forward. On possible future disagreements, Emanuel said the following:

"All the back stuff, we’re going to try and do what we do. I think that’s what he wants, but if there’s a disagreement, that’s called a relationship. We will work it out and that’s how we have it."

What do UFC's Dana White and WWE's Vince McMahon have to say about the Endeavor merger?

The recent acquision of WWE by Endeavor, the UFC's parent company, blew up a storm no-one saw coming. Both are the best promotions in their respective niches, and there have been some cross-overs between organizations like Brock Lesnar in the UFC and Ronda Rousey in WWE.

According to Endeavor, the UFC is valued at $12.1 billion while its pro-wrestling counterpart is valued at $9.3 billion. Both companies are valued at a whopping $21+ billion together. With the new acquision, Endeavor will have a 51% stake in the WWE, while the existing shareholders will have a 49% stake.

Here's what Vince McMahon, the executive chairman of the world's best pro-wrestling promotion, said about the merger in an interview with CNBC:

"This is the biggest thing [that] Ari Emanuel and Vince McMahon have ever done. Combining forces like this is - there's nothing like this, there's never been anything like this. People have been talking about this for a long time."

Dana White said the following about the merger:

"This company has been fire for the last seven years and now that we will be adding WWE to the portfolio, I'm excited to take to another level. Vince is a savage in the wrestling space. Ari is beast at what he does and then add what we at the UFC bring to the table, and there is no limit to what this company can accomplish in the next few years.
