MonstersDuring the event, the following monsters will appear more frequently in the corresponding habitats:Deviljho: Forest, desert, swamp, and tundra habitats (This monster will appear more frequently in volatile territories)Coral Pukei-Pukei: Forest, and swamp habitatsBarioth: Tundra habitatAdditionally, only the monsters listed above will appear in event-exclusive Hunt-a-thon points.ScheduleThe Monster Hunter Now Driftsmelting Bonanza will arrive at 9:00 AM on January 13, 2025, and run till January 19, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Players will have around seven days to play it.DriftstonesDuring the event, Driftsones-related aspects will change as follows:Defeating a large monster may drop a Mysterious Driftstone D.Deviljho, Coral Pukei-Pukei, and Barioth will drop Mysterious Driftstone D. The effect will end after some time or if the player's health becomes fully depleted. The skill can be activated by performing a forward dash.HeadstrongThe damage increases after not evading any monster strikes for a few seconds. The effect will end if the player evades or depletes their health. To activate the skill, withstand enemy attacks.Event questsThe event quests will task hunters with slaying Deviljho, Coral Pukei Pukei, and Barioth.
