What to expect from the event

Only those who have scored more than a Hunter Rank of 100 can participate in the event. They will find Kirin more frequently at Elder Dragon Interception points. The monster will also appear at 8-star Elder Dragon Interception points.

Who is Kirin?

While Kirin is said to be an elder dragon, it is extremely rare to find. The monster can manipulate electricity and can cover itself with lightning.

These are the equipments that can be forged with Kirin materials (for all hunters):

Weapons - Element: Thunder

Weapon types: Sword and Shield, Dual Blades, Great Sword, Lance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun, and Heavy Bowgun.

Armor - Name: Kirin set

A new skill that boosts the damage output of thunder-element attacks and makes it easier to remove paralysis.

Ticket sales period

Tickets will be available from January 14, 2025, until February 2, 2025.

When a player purchases the ticket, they will instantly receive the Monster Hunter Now Winter Hunt 2025 outfit.
Points where Hunt-a-thons occur will be switched to Elder Dragon Interception points.
After participating in Elder Dragon Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, the waiting time will be eliminated.
During the event, the appearance rate of dimensional-linked monsters will be increased.
The time taken by large monsters to reappear will be reduced to 30 minutes.
