The drivers of the NASCAR Cup Series are scheduled to be at the 2.66-mile-long tri-oval track on Sunday, April 21, as the action at the season’s 10th racing weekend continues at Talladega Superspeedway.

In Saturday’s Cup Series qualifying, Front Row Motorsports driver Michael McDowell won his first pole of the season to lead the field to the green flag at the start of the 2024 GEICO 500, which is scheduled to begin on Sunday at 3 pm ET.

Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch are the only active drivers on the grid who have secured multiple wins in the GEICO 500.

The weather forecast on Sunday is cloudy skies with rain throughout the day, a high temperature of 57 degrees Fahrenheit, and a 95 percent chance of rain at the start of the GEICO 500.
