NASCAR Friday schedule: Here’s what today’s schedule at North Wilkesboro Speedway looks like

The drivers of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Cup Series are scheduled to be at the North Wilkesboro Speedway on Friday (May 19) as All-Star weekend opens at the 0.625-mile short oval track.

The 40 Truck Series drivers will take part in a practice at 4 pm ET before competing in qualifying and Tyson 250 on Saturday. Cup Series drivers are scheduled for practice and qualifying (pit crew challenge) after the Truck events.

However, Friday’s weather forecast predicted mostly cloudy skies and a 10% chance of rain at the start of the Cup series practice.

Track activity

3:05 pm ET – 3:35 pm ET: Truck Series practice

4 pm ET – 4:50 pm ET: Cup Series practice

5:45 pm ET – 7 pm ET: Cup Series qualifying, pit crew challenge

The practice for Truck Series will be broadcast on FS1. The Cup Series practice and pit crew challenge will be live on FS1, Motor Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
