Carlos Alberto Vela Garrido: A Brief Biography

Carlos Alberto Vela Garrido (born in Cancún, Quintana Roo) is a Mexican association football striker, who currently plays for Real Sociedad. Carlos started his career at Mexican club C.D. Guadalajara, and won the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship for Mexico. Thereafter he joined Arsenal in November 2005 and had loan spells at Spanish clubs UD Salamanca and CA Osasuna. He scored first goal with Osasuna against Real Betis on October 31st, 2007 and returned to Arsenal on May 22nd, 2008. Furthermore Carlos also joined with West Bromwich, Real Sociedad on loan and finally signed Real Sociedad on August 10th, 2012. He also plays for the Mexico national football team at U-17 and U-21 along with he scored his first international goal on June 3rd,2010.
