Chen Jin is a male badminton player from China who is currently world no 4 in Badminton. He is the former World Men's singles Champion, after defeating Taufik Hidayat in the final of the 2010 BWF World Championships in Paris. Since his victory in the Asian Junior Badminton Championships in 2004, Chen turned up his game a notch and won numerous titles including Polish (2004), French (2004), German (2006), Swiss(2007), and Macau (2007) Opens. Chen captured the China Masters title in 2006, and the prestigious All-England Championships, his biggest title to date. In 2008, he settled for a bronze medal defeating Korea's Lee Hyun-il in the playoff for third place. He is also part of the team that won China's Thomas Cup. In 2010, he picked up medals at the Thomas Cup, World Championship and the Asian Games.
