Cheyenne Knight was born on 22nd January 1997 in The Woodlands, Texas. She had been playing golf since the age of five years old and she fell in love with sports at the age of only Nine. She chose to golf for herself instead of Horse riding.

In high school, she became a Shady Oaks Country Club member and admired Lorena Ochoa and Tiger Woods. She was a team member and was also named SEC Player of the Year in the same season. She was awarded All-American honors three times and won SEC Player of the Year in college.
