Kynan Chenai: A Brief Biography

One of the younger members of the shooting contingent, Kyna Chenai will be second of the trap shooters who will be going to Rio along with veteran Manavjit Singh Sandhu. Chenai took up the sport in 2003 and burst onto the scene in 2007 when he won Gold at the National Junior Men\'s Trap Shooting 50st National Shotgun Championships in Ahmedabad and then the following year won yet another Gold at the Commonwealth Youth Trap Games in Pune. In the same year, Chenai also won a Gold at the National Junior Trap Shooting 51st National Shotgun Championships 2008 and clinched the silver at the Trap Shooting Asian Clay Championships. He qualified for Rio 2016 at the final Olympic qualifier that was held in New Delhi and will now to hope to get his Olympic career off to a positive start in Rio.
