Mohamad Arif ABDUL LATIF

Mohd Arif Abdul Latif is a national badminton player from Malaysia who was born on 22 August 1989. His two brothers- Zakry Abdul Latif and Razif Abdul Latif, are also successful badminton players. Latif went on to play at an international level garnering attention to himself for the first time at the 2007 Junior World Championships where he came in the fifth position in men\'s single event. The following year he won at both the men\'s doubles as well as the men\'s singles competition at the International Mexico Championships. He came in the fifth position at the Malaysian International in 2008. He also participated in the Macau Open 2008, the India Open Grand Prix 2009 and the Vietnam Open 2009 though he finished in the ninth position in all the matches.
