Scott Stallings's Amateur Career

At Oak Ridge High School in Tennessee, Stallings was a four-year member of the Dean's List and an all-state golfer. After high school, he played collegiate golf at Tennessee Tech, where he won seven events; he was also selected an All-American in 2006 and Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, twice.

Stallings competed on the NGA Hooters Tour and the Tarheel Tour in 2008 and 2009, but in 2009 he made his first trip to the PGA Tour's Qualifying School, where he narrowly missed the PGA card.
