Tine Baun is a female badminton player from Denmark with notable statistics. Most notably, she has won the prestigious All England Open Badminton Championships women's singles title twice in 2008 and 2010. As for Baun's record in the BWF Super Series, she won the 2007 Japan Open beating all Chinese-born players from the first match. She also won the 2008 Singapore Super Series, beating Zhou Mi of Hongkong in the final. She won the silver medal at the 2008 European Badminton Championships after losing from Xu Huaiwen of Germany in the final with rubber set. Tine had claimed three titles in 2009, the Malaysia Open by beating the 1st seeded, Zhou Mi of Hongkong in the final, Korea Open by beating Pi Hongyan of France and Denmark Open Baun won the gold medal at the 2010 European Badminton Championships aften winning over Juliane Schenk of Germany.
