NCAA March Madness Festival 2022: Lineup, tickets, where to buy, dates, and more

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) March Madness Music Festival slated for the first three days of April this year at Woldenberg Park, New Orleans has announced its lineup. The event is free and will be headlined by a star-studded lineup including Grammy Award-winning rock band Imagine Dragons, singer-songwriter Khalid and rapper Macklemore. Fans can register for the March Madness Free Music Festival here, starting from March 23.

Capital One cardholders will get early access to free tickets for Capital One JamFest on Monday, March 21 through Tuesday, March 22 depending on the supplies. In addition to getting first access to the free tickets, The Capital One JamFest includes early entry, a Cardholder Priority Access Line, and an exclusive Cardholder Lounge aboard the New Orleans Riverboat.

This is the sixth year that New Orleans will host the Final Four and the first time since 2012. As of now, the performers for the AT&T Block Party on Friday, April 1 have not been revealed. The event was announced in conjunction with the 2022 Division I Men’s Final Four.


NCAA March Madness Music Festival 2022 lineup

On Saturday, April 2, R&B singer Lucky Daye, BIA, and rapper The Kid Laroi will kickstart the festival from Infinite Sounds by Coca-Cola Starlight stage. Khalid will also perform on the same day.

On Sunday, April 3, Imagine Dragons will headline the Capital One JamFest along with rapper Macklemore and Grouplove. Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue will perform during the day. Fans can also livestream the performances on ncaa.com and bleacherreport.com.

“The three-day FREE music festival will offer fans electric performances from A-list artists during the most anticipated weekend in college sports,” NCAA’s website reads.

Past performers in the music fest include Aerosmith, The Chainsmokers, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy, Twenty-One Pilots, Aloe Blacc, Lukas Graham, Flo Rida, Panic! At the Disco, Pitbull. and Jason Derulo.
