On September 15, a video of a woman ordering a Starbucks drink under Charlie Kirk's name went viral on social media. According to the video, the Starbucks store the woman visited was located at Yucaipa Boulevard in Yucaipa, California.

The video showed the woman walking into the outlet and ordering a mint majesty tea with two honeys, which is reportedly Kirk's go-to Starbucks order to soothe his throat. When asked for a name for the drink, the woman replied, 'Charlie Kirk,' which the barista refused to print on the sticker.

She said the company didn't allow political names to be printed on stickers, and when asked whether she could write the name on the cup, the barista replied she could only write "Charlie" due to political reasons.

JD Vance asked people to report anyone celebrating Charlie Kirk's death

US Vice President JD Vance hosted Charlie Kirk's eponymous podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, from his office at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on September 15, 2025. During the two-hour episode, the VP invited several guests to speak about Kirk's legacy and the aftermath of his death.

One of his key points included a strong condemnation of those celebrating Kirk's death on social media. Vance urged everyone to call out individuals who posted content celebrating Kirk's murder and to ask them to contact their employers to get them fired.

“When you see someone celebrating Charlie’s murder, call them out. And, hell, call their employer. We don’t believe in political violence, but we do believe in civility, and there is no civility in the celebration of political assassination,” he said.

Vance's comments came after several airline workers, educators, healthcare professionals, and office workers in the United States reportedly lost their jobs for negatively commenting on Kirk's death. According to the BBC, an Office Depot employee in Michigan was fired after a video of them refusing to print Kirk's posters for his vigil went viral on social media.

Additionally, Anthony Pough, a Secret Service employee, had his security clearance revoked after his Facebook post following Kirk's shooting, in which he alleged that the conservative activist "spewed hate and racism on his show."

Meanwhile, Stephen Miller, the White House's deputy chief of staff, vowed to avenge Kirk's death during his appearance on the podcast with Vance. According to NBC News, he accused left-wing organizations of spearheading "a vast domestic terror movement," adding:

“It is a vast domestic terror movement. With God as my witness, we are going to use every resource we have at the Department of Justice, Homeland Security and throughout this government to identify, disrupt, dismantle and destroy these networks and make America safe again for the American people. It will happen, and we will do it in Charlie’s name.”
