Pregnant Gypsy-Rose Blanchard's estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, recently spoke about not having a choice but to get a paternity test for her baby girl.

Blanchard's 38-year-old ex shared his remarks on the matter during a TikTok live he posted on Saturday, August 10, saying that he's expected to get a DNA test after the former inmate's pregnancy news.

"I have to get a DNA test. I don't have a choice... I hate being in this situation."

Anderson said that he's required to do it because of the Louisiana state law, even though Blanchard is now with her boyfriend Ken Urker.

A DNA test is necessary to establish paternity for couples who have separated but remain married. Ryan Anderson further mentioned:

"I have to get a DNA test for court. The way the timeline matches up, I don't think it's mine, but I don't know."

Anderson added that the paternity test would prove who the real father is. Currently, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is claiming that Urker is her unborn baby's father. Anderson also added in the TikTok video:

"Crazier things have happened. I just don't know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions."

Blanchard and Anderson had tied the knot in 2022 while the former was still in prison, but the ex-inmate since filed for divorce.

Ryan Anderson could be listed as Gypsy-Rose Blanchard's baby's father

While Gypsy-Rose Blanchard has ended rumors about her unborn baby's paternity, saying that the father is her current boyfriend, Ryan Anderson may still be named as the baby's father.

That could happen if she gives birth to the baby before their divorce is finalized, according to what a Louisiana attorney told People.

It's because the ex-husband is the "presumed father" if the baby was conceived while the mother is still married or has been divorced for less than 300 days before the baby's birth, according to Louisiana law.

In that case, if Ken Urker wants to be named as the baby's father, Ryan Anderson would have to sign an affidavit confirming that Urker is the dad.

The other option to establish who the real father of the baby is would be to get a DNA test, which Anderson said in the livestream he would have to do. Elsewhere in the TikTok livestream, Anderson has a message for his estranged wife and his viewers, saying:

"You love Ken? Good for you. I'm glad that community loves Ken. But hopefully, if you are here with me, you are team Ryan."

Ryan Anderson's video came on the same day Gypsy-Rose Blanchard and her boyfriend announced the gender of their baby. The former inmate shared the news on her Instagram alongside a snippet of their gender reveal party, saying that she and Ken are expecting a baby girl.
