The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is closing in on its season finale, scheduled to air on AMC this Sunday, October 15. Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, all of twelve years old, will play a big part in the episode when it airs.

Speaking to SK POP, the actor recapped his intense scene with Norman Reedus, where the veteran actor screamed into his face, furious at him for letting their boat float away. He admits that while he was intimidated at first, Reedus, the star of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, is like a marshmallow.

When Daryl Dixon realizes the extent of what Laurent has done, he screams a barrage of expletives at the young man. Scigliuzzi admits that he was scared at first:

"It's Norman, you know. The guy that's always nice. I get it. It's his job, you know. But it was scary at first. I didn't know how to react."

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon star agrees that Laurent is naive

Until the point where Norman Reedus screams at him, Scigliuzzi had never been a part of an emotional scene. While intimidated, the young actor remembered how kind a man Reedus is. He likened the popular American actor to a marshmallow and said:

"Yeah, yeah, definitely. I mean he is an intimidating person. I think I said that last time we had an interview. He's like a marshmallow, you know. It's all dark on the outside but it's all squishy and nice on the inside. When you get to know him, he's one of the kindest persons I met, probably ever."

Of course, all is forgiven a moment later when the two The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon stars embraced. SK POP had to ask the 12-year-old star how he developed such incredible chemistry with the star of the franchise.

"It just happened," Scigliuzzi said.

Daryl Dixon, caught in a fit of rage, informs Laurent that he is not as smart as he thinks he is. Scigliuzzi laughed and agreed with Dixon's assessment:

"Yes (Laughs). He's very naive. He's been in this world of nuns. Not a perfect world, but you know, nearly perfect. But I don't think he has really explored the world. Daryl has seen a lot of it. I think Daryl knows a lot more than Laurent."

The young man is thrilled to be a part of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. While the intensity of the emotional scene was intimidating, Scigliuzzi is clearly enjoying the challenge:

"It's really nice. It is."

And that wasn't his only emotional scene in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The same episode saw Laurent confront Genet, the show's villain, and boldly proclaim she had a broken heart. Scigliuzzi opened up on working with Anne Charrier:

"It was a good scene to shoot. You know, Genet, the actress, she is very, very nice. Always smiling. Like everyone. And I think the impact it has, she does get pretty mad out of it, but I think he's telling the truth."
