"Should’ve been kicked out" — Internet slams Tiffany Haddish for walking at Monse's New York Fashion Show runway on Kathy Hilton’s dare

Comedian Tiffany Haddish was spotted doing an impromptu catwalk at the Monse Maison runway show during the New York Fashion Week on September 7, following a suggestion from Kathy Hilton. Clips circulating online show Haddish seated with the Hilton socialites—Kathy Hilton and their daughters, Paris and Nicky Hilton—during the show.

In the clips, after the models had completed their walk, Kathy Hilton told Haddish by saying, "Yes, now go. There’s nothing going on." Moments later, Tiffany Haddish walked through the runaway impromptu before the next round of models came on, leading to hysterical laughter from the Hilton family.

Fans were left disappointed with Haddish's impromptu walk, with many taking to X to criticize the comedian. One X user commented:

"it’s one thing when you’re actually funny — but this is the performative “class clown” behavior that most grow out of… like we get it, you’re an [alleged] comedian. but this makes a mockery of a show that a lot of time, work, & money has gone into… should’ve been kicked out 🤷🏾‍♂️"

Several other fans expressed similar sentiments online on X:

Users continued to criticize Tiffany Haddish's actions, with many claiming Hiltons made allegedly racist comments about the comedian after she left.

"The same people laughing in her face are laughing behind her back," a fan mentioned.

Shortly after Tiffany Haddish pulled off the dare, Paris Hilton shared a video of the same on her Instagram, explaining how her mother had challenged the comedian to pull off the stunt.

Tiffany Haddish recently reacted to her ex, rapper Common, wanting to marry his current girlfriend, Jennifer Hudson, last month. In a July 2024 appearance on The Breakfast Club, the 52-year-old rapper said:

"With all due respect to all the women I've dated — because it's all love — but this is a really healthy and beautiful relationship. If I'm going to get married, it's to her. That's simple as that."

As per PEOPLE, Tiffany Haddish and Common met each other when they worked together for the 2019 film, The Kitchen. At that time, Haddish told PEOPLE:

"The only celebrity I've entangled with, it was two years of him chasing me down before I finally was like, 'Okay, let's do something. That was top of 2020, but we met at the beginning of 2018, 2017."

The comedian later revealed that the couple broke up in August 2021. Tiffany Haddish revealed to The Washington Post that it was not a mutual breakup but more of Common believing the relationship had "run its course."

In her May 2024 interview on the Making Space with Hoda Kotb podcast, Tiffany Haddish wished Common all the best in his relationship with co-star Jennifer Hudson. She said he loved Hudson and wished the couple were having fun.
