Former Scare Dem crew member Boom Dandimite passed away on May 21, 2023. As per the family and authorities, Dandimite had a major relapse in health at the time of his death. The musician had a severe accident in April 2023 after he met with a severe car accident last month. The family announced the death and claimed that Dandimite was travelling and suddenly fainted after he got down from the plane. He started foaming at the mouth and was taken to the hospital, where he tragically passed away.

The Dancehall Magazine also reported that the doctors claimed that Boom had blood clots and several complications. They mentioned how several medical issues were ignored while he was getting treated in Jamaica.

Boom Dandimite, whose real name is Herman Stewart, was best known for the Scare Dem Crew, which he formed with his friends, Nitty Kutchie, Harry Toddler and Elephant Man. The musical group, formed in the 1990s, was loved by the masses, and for the same reason, the death of the crew member has left the netizens devastated.

Boom’s accident took place on Half Way Tree Road in April. With Boom Dandimite, another DJ, Wilful Skilful, was injured. He soon recovered and was allowed to return home.

The tragic news of Boom Dandimite's death has shaken the online community as they come to terms with the sudden passing of the beloved Jamaican musician. With a heavy heart, social media users bid adieu to Dandimite. As the news spread, a wave of sadness and nostalgia swept through the platforms as tributes poured in.

While some social media users paid tribute to the musician, others sent their condolences to his family.

The musician’s fellow band members and friends are devastated after his sad demise. Toddler, Bomb’s friend said:

“Just remember my brother … I am asking the world… I can’t believe all now, we have so many things to do in music this year.. Boom Dandimite rest well my bro, we will never forget u in this lifetime we have left.”

Wilful Skilful, who was also involved in the accident with the musician, poured his heart out and said:

“Bounty Killer told me that Boom fly gone to the US, and mi just wake and ah do some laundry and mi start get bear phone call say the man gone. Jah jah!”

Boom, AKA Herman Stewart, was scheduled to perform at the Reggae Sumfest on July 21, 2023. The musician was performing with his friends, Harry Toddler, Jigsy King, Mega Banton, Nitty Kutchie, Silver Cat, and Tony Curtis.

However, fans and followers are devastated as they would not be seeing Boom with his fellow musicians. They are heartbroken that they would never be able to hear and rejoice in his music live.

At the moment, the family has not revealed much about the funeral and memorial services of the musician.
