The owner of the TW3 Group insurance company, Thomas White has come under fire for his fatphobic comments. A TikTok user recorded his drunken meltdown at a restaurant where he called a woman “fat.” The netizen also revealed later on that he began talking about transgender and women's rights and Martha Stewart’s recent Sports Illustrated cover among other topics. Netizens have since relentlessly trolled him online.
The video was posted by TikTok user @mntl_illee. At the time of writing this article, the viral clip had amassed over 900K views. While inebriated, Thomas White can be heard saying:
"This is the problem of our country, you act like you’re like- "oh my God, what’s wrong." I asked a simple question, you look at me like I can’t describe it."
Thomas White goes on to ask the woman who was recording the video what is the difference between voting rights 200 and 100 years ago. He then points towards the woman’s body and says:
"You have like a lot of fat around there by the way yeah."
The woman then tells him that he has food on his face to which he responds by saying-
“Cool, I’m good. I have two dogs and a wife.”
He went on to tell the woman in an accusatory manner that she was fat. He was eventually escorted out of the restaurant.
The TikTok user went on to clarify in more videos that the two were not on a date. She explained that she was at the restaurant before he came in and was eating alone until he began talking to her.
Thomas White’s identity was not initially revealed by the TikToker. However, internet sleuths were quick to find out who he was.
