On Friday, January 12, TWICE's official Spotify cover was changed following the group's upcoming comeback. However, fans immediately took notice of the fact that the member, Mina, was excluded from the cover image.

Given that every member naturally contributes a significant part to the K-pop girl group, fans called out Spotify for carelessly leaving out a member from an important and representative platform like Spotify.

Therefore, fans have been trending several hashtags such as #RESPECTMINA, #RESPECT_TWICE, #TWICEisNINE, and more on X in order to garner more attention to the concerning issue. Additionally, they've also consistently demanded that the Spotify cover be immediately changed to one that includes all the group members.

Fans enraged as Spotify's new cover for TWICE leaves out the member, Mina

Recently, JYP Entertainment announced that the nine-member K-pop girl group, TWICE, will be rolling out their 13th mini album, With YOU-th, on February 23, 2024, at 2 pm KST. Therefore, the promotions for the same have already started, with the agency releasing a few teaser clips and images. I Got You, a pre-release single, is also scheduled for release on February 2, 2024, at 2 pm KST.

Following these exciting announcements, the group's profile picture, layout, and other aesthetics changed across several platforms, including as Instagram, X, and more. While it was expected to also have their official Spotify cover changed, what fans didn't see coming was a member being left out from the image.

The current official Spotify cover of the group fails to include the member, Mina, and it caused quite a stir on the internet. Given that Spotify covers could be one of the means by which new listeners come to know about the K-pop group, fans think that it's important to have all the members represented in a significant and well-known platform like Spotify.

Regardless, many argued that all members of a group must be represented and showcased in all the promotional material executed for the group since it's only fair and expected. Naturally, fans who were angered by the issue began to trend several hashtags on X to garner more attention to the same.

They've also been tagging JYP Entertainment and Republic Records, the two agencies that collaboratively manage and handle TWICE's promotions, demanding that they address the issue at hand and make the respective changes at the earliest.

As they continue to do the same, they've also not been afraid to criticize the authorities and officials who let the new Spotify cover be uploaded despite the absence of the group member, Mina.

On the other hand, fans are also thrilled about the group's upcoming album, With YOU-th, their 13th mini album. While the group rolled out a winter-themed single in December, Dance Again, they haven't released an album since Ready To Be back in March.

Additionally, given that the concept and aesthetics of the upcoming album seem to revolve around themes that the group hasn't explored so far, fans are excitedly looking forward to it. As TWICE continues with their promotions, fans are waiting to see what's in store for them this February.
