Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Characters

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a book series about a boy named Percy who discovers he's the son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. He's sent to Camp Half-Blood, a secret training camp for demigods (kids who are half-human, half-god). There, he makes friends with other demigods, like Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, goddess of wisdom, and Grover Underwood, a satyr (half-human, half-goat).

The books are written by Rick Riordan. The publisher of the books for the first three installments was Miramax Books, which later became Hyperion Books. Hyperion published the latter three books. In the UK, all of the books in the series were published by Penguin Books.

Riordan has also written a sequel series to the Percy Jackson series called The Heroes of Olympus. The character of Percy Jackson appears in that series as well.
