Over the years Shark Tank has seen its fair share of innovative products. First premiering on August 9, 2009, the American reality TV show has won multiple Primetime Emmy Awards.

The concept of the show is simple -- entrepreneurs with creative products or service make presentations to a panel of venture capitalists, also called "sharks," who then decide whether or not to invest in their companies.

Over the seasons, the sharks have invested in many creative products and services that have gone on to become household names. One product in particular that rose to fame after securing a deal with Lori Greiner is the Original Scrub Daddy.

1) Scrub Daddy

When founder Aaron Krause demonstrated the Original Scrub Daddy to the Shark Tank panel, they were impressed. The selling point of this cleaning sponge is its texture which gets firm in cold water and soft in warm water. The sharks could see the potential of the product, which started a bidding war among them. Ultimately, Krause decided to make a deal with Lori.

Over the years, the company has expanded and now offers more than 20 cleaning products. Simple and effective, the Original Scrub Daddy is still a favourite among consumers. If you need a handy cleaning scrub to help you out in the kitchen, then look no further -- the Scrub Daddy is your best bet!

2) Squatty Potty

When founders Bobby Edwards and Judy Edwards first pitched their product to the Shark Tank panel, they looked amused and surprised by the idea. However, once they explained the reasoning behind the product, a few sharks showed interest. The founders ultimately made a deal with QVC queen Lori.

Consumers around the world have since embraced the Squatty Potty as it helps reduce strain and time on the toilet while improving bowel movement.

3) HiccAway

Created by doctor Ali Seifi, HiccAway is a device that claims to “instantly relieve hiccups.” To be used as a straw, the device creates pressure causing the diaphragm to lower and activate the epigloss. It stimulates the two nerves responsible for hiccups, allowing the brain to stop the hiccups.

On Shark Tank, the inventor landed a deal with Mark Cuban. If you tend to get hiccups often, then this one should be on your must-buy list.

4) ReadeRest

Founder Rick Hopper didn't have a lot of takers when he showcased his magnetic eyeglass holder called ReadeREST on Shark Tank. But Lori was interested and pushed on her offer and eventually made a deal with Hopper.

Losing, scratching, and dropping eye-wear can be frustrating. Not only that, it can also get expensive to replace and/or repair them, which is why this device became a hit with customers after it aired on QVC. This simple and efficient device is perfect for those who want to keep their eye-wear safe and sound.

5) Nana Hats

Nana Hats are BPA-free crochet silicone caps that can be placed on the stems of bananas to keep them fresh for longer. Of course, the Shark Tank panel thought the product was "bananas," but they were still interested in striking a deal. After a long discussion, entrepreneur Sean Adler ended up making a deal with Lori and guest shark Peter Jones.

Not only are Nana Hats reusable and convenient, but they come in cute designs that will help brighten up your fruit basket.

6) Final Straw

The best thing about products showcased on Shark Tank is that a lot of them address current problems. One such product that aims to help do away with the plastic straw problem is Final Straw.

Unfortunately, the product did not land a deal on Shark Tank but they still made it big after their appearance on the show. They even expanded their product line to include spoons, forks, and knives. This is a great buy for the environmentally conscious consumer who wants to do their bit for the planet.
